Baking Basics: Tips and Tricks on Baking

Now that you know some baking tips, I will teach you how to bake something! Cake pops are an easy

and fun thing to bake.

Things you will need:

Box cake mix

Eggs

Vegetable oil

Icing

Cake pop sticks (optional)

Candy melts

Tray

Baking pan

Pam

To make this process easier, you can use a box cake mix of your favorite flavor. Start by following

the recipe on the box. Preheat your oven to the correct temperature and start mixing your

ingredients: cake mix, eggs, oil, and anything else that may be required in your box cake mix recipe.

Don't forget to grease your cake pan before pouring your cake batter into it. Bake your cake, make

sure it's ready, and take it out of the oven to cool completely. Once your cake is cooled completely,

crumble the entire cake up. Mix your favorite flavor of icing together with the cake. The cake needs

to be able to stick together in little balls, so use as much icing as you please that will allow your

cake to stay together. Gather little chunks of your cake and icing mixture and roll them into little

balls about the shape of a ping pong ball. Set those balls on a tray, stick your cake pop sticks in

the balls (optional), and put the in the fridge to harden up. While the cake is in the fridge, melt

your candy melts. If your sticks aren't staying, dip them into the melted chocolate and then put

them back in the cake. Take your cake balls out of the fridge and dip them into the melted

chocolate. Place the cake pops back on the tray and put them back into the fridge to harden

the chocolate on the outside. If you want to add something a little extra to your cake pops,

you can decorate them however you want. In the photo, mine are decorated for Halloween.

Again, cake pops are an easy, fun dessert to bake that will impress your family and friends.
