Baking Basics: Tips and Tricks on Baking

Welcome back to another week of baking! Today I will teach you how to make three layered

brownies that will satisfy your sweet tooth cravings.

What you will need:

- Baking pan

- Pam

- Chocolate chip cookie dough

- Brownie mix (I use the box mix)

- Eggs

- Water

- Vegetable oil

- Oreos

To start off this delicious dessert, you will need to preheat your oven to the temperature on the box

of your brownie mix for your corresponding pan size. While your oven is preheating, you can get

your brownies prepped and ready to bake. Start by spraying your baking pan with pam, or use

your preferred greasing method. Next you will want to open your cookie dough and cover the

bottom of your pan with a layer of dough. You will need to press down on and flatten the dough

out to make sure it covers the entire pan and so it is not super thick. Then, you will open your

Oreos. I prefer to use double stuff, but you can use whatever Oreos you desire. Place the Oreos in

rows on top of the cookie dough, filling up the pan. Then you can make your brownie batter. Stir up

all of the ingredients: the mix, water, eggs, and oil and stir until completely mixed. Pour your brownie

batter on top of the Oreos and spread it gently and evenly. Once your oven is preheated, place your

pan in the oven. Set the timer to the corresponding time on the box of brownie mix for the pan size.

When the timer goes off, test your brownies with a toothpick to make sure they are ready before

taking them out of the oven. When they are ready, take them out of the oven and let them cool

completely before cutting into them. After they cool, dig in and enjoy!
